Earnestine Nickel, Past President C05 Earnestine Nickel grew up in Duncanville, TX and attended college at the University of North Texas where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, with a minor in accounting. Earnestine began in property management in 1990 as a relocation consultant for Electronic Data Systems (EDS) where she managed a multi-million dollar inventory of corporate owned properties all over the United States and Canada. She was also responsible for bringing EDS' entire relocation program In-House saving the company well over a million dollars per year and generating hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue, which is unheard of for a cost center. She also received the CRP ( Certified Relocation Professional ) designation from the Employee Relocation Council. In 1995, she and her husband, Scott, purchased Nickel Property from Scott's dad, Pug Nickel. She has more than quadrupled the business since that time, but doesn't take on more than she can handle. In fact, she will close her business, at times, to new clients if she feels her current clients would suffer in any way from her managing too many properties. She does this because she is an investor herself and feels like quality property managment is more important than quantity. Earnestine works closely with investors to help them locate, purchase, lease and maintain rental properties that fit her clients investing goals. Earnestine is currently President-Elect of Dallas NARPM and is a candidate for the Residential Management Professional designation. Earnestine has one daughter, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a bunny. Earnestine is an avid soccer player, gardner and water activity enthusiast. She can be seen on the soccer field scoring goals or found on the lake making waves with her wave runner and boat. Most of all, Earnestine has devoted her life to Christ and gives him the glory for all her successes in life.
