About NARPM
NARPM is an association of real estate professionals who know
first-hand the unique problems and challenges of managing
single-family and small residential properties. It offers an
effective, professional learning environment for owners of property
management companies, property managers, and their support staff.
The Greater Dallas Chapter of the National Association of
Residential Property Managers (NARPM).
Our chapter was established in 1992 to serve the entire Greater
Dallas area.

Rose Thomas, MPM, is President-Elect of the
National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPMŪ).
She is President of Property Management People, Inc., located in
Frederick, MD. The firm manages various types of properties
including single-family homes, small-multi family, town homes,
condominiums and homeowners' associations. She founded PMP in
September of 1980 along with her husband, Ed Thomas, CEO of PMP's
Community Association Department. Entering the real estate industry
in 1980, President-Elect Thomas was licensed in 1981 and has been
actively involved ever since. Rose joined NARPM in 1995 and has
served the association in a variety of capacities including: a
member of the national Affiliates Committee, chaired the Editorial
Committee for 2 years, editor of the Residential Resource for two
years, and served as the chair for the association's Convention
Committee for the 2004 convention in Baltimore MD. In addition to
serving this year as President-Elect, she has also served as Vice
President, Secretary and Treasurer of NARPM. Rose is an active
member of the
Maryland Suburban Chapter of NARPM too.
President-Elect Thomas earned her Bachelor of Arts from Shepherd
College, in Shepherdstown, West Virginia in 1976. She is active in
her church and in fund raising for cancer patients. Rose and Ed
live in Frederick with their two sons, Kyle and Chase.
